Palo Santo has been used for centuries to clear negative energy, for medicinal purposes and even to keep mosquitoes away! It's unique, almost citrusy, scent is in stark contrast to sage and other herbs. So if you're not a fan of burning sage, don't count Palo Santo out.
Our hand-cut sticks come from ethically managed Bursera Graveolens forests in Ecuador and Peru. Both countries have strict regulations regarding the harvest of this important natural resource. Wood can only be harvested from dead branches that have been lying on the forest floor for several years. And our suppliers are committed to the responsible management of the Bursera Graveolens tree for generations to come. They allocate a percentage of their revenues to plant new trees so the forests can continue to thrive.
Rest assured that when you enjoy the heavenly scent of our Palo Santo, your impact on the environment is a positive one. They burn beautifully in any of our carefully curated, artisanal Palo Santo holders, too!
